Deja vu

Since I've come down to Cville I've been loving the traffic, or lack there of...Today I experienced a bit of deja vu....thanks to this

It doesn't look that bad does it?

But it was only moving at about 20-30 mph....and all that lovely snowy confusion was gone by mid-day... I couldn't find a single snowy patch on my way home...

I was scared to death our first winter in Cville would be horrible with multiple snow in's and power outages, but it's been a pretty mild if not totally weird winter, with temperature swings of 20-30 degrees in just a few days time.

Days and Counting

I found a new place recently and I really love it. It's AW Collectables on 250 West just a few mintues past Shadewell. I think I might like it more than Circa. I've already been in it twice. The place is huge with two floors. It takes a min of an hour to get a halfway decent walkthru. I've REALLY restrained myself and not bought a thing : )

And just because he's beautiful...

Only a few more days and I'll get see him eveyday : )

I pass this house entrance everyday I drive Rt20 to Cville...I love it.

Filling up the house

Steve called me today to tell me I had to stop by and see what we got today..Butch, one of his salesmen a gave us a gift for the house.

A feeder for our yard, we like all kinds of critters :O)

After the Storm

The all day heavy snow we had yesterday is almost a memory, but it was pretty when it was here.
We took stuff to the house today and on our way to the resturant to grab some dinner afwards we saw these doe deer grazing next to the tennis court and playground...

On Fire

Nothing to exciting today, except the sky was on fire this evening....

Fallen Giant

I found this newly fallen tree on pantops today....I guess yesterday's constant rain and wind were a too much for him, he was a really big tree....check out the very blue sky and fluffy white clouds behind it...

Hope everyone is having a great Superbowl Sunday. Time to grill some Bratwurst and watch the game...
