I was almost lunch
Playing outside in the yard while daddy drank his coffee, he realized I was on the menu.
One of our two resident hawks landed in one of the trees in the yard and watched Maya very intently. We brought Maya back up onto to the deck to rush her into the house if needed. Realizing Maya wasn't as easy a target the hawk flew off...
It was just a little distrubing to say the least.

Fall Fiber Festival
We went to the Fall Fiber Festival on Sunday. We had a great time. This is my fourth year attending and everytime I see new things and appreciate the fiber arts even more.
Gavin really wasn't sure about the llamma's; I suspect that Gavin saw them in the same category as dogs, which he's still convinced are up to no good.
Best of Show from the Skein & Garment competition.

Angora Albino, so silky soft, you just can't imagine!

the sheepdog trails are always fun to watch, Steve left the car and made a b-line for the sheepdog trial field and he sat for hours watching.
Is is my turn yet?

the end. more on flickr
