finally

After several sketchy, fleeting sightings, finally yesterday evening I spotted her and delicately tip-toed as close as I could get.


For a couple of tense minutes we watched each other; her in cautious prey mode, me in total awe. Then her tail flipped up and she was gone.

fire on the lake

I left for work this morning and when I came around the lake I was surprised by the scene ahead of me.
One of the cabins on the lake was engulfed in fire. As I watched I could hear the fire trucks coming.

I hope no one on hurt. When I got home I checked to see if they had managed to save the cabin but all that was left was black, charred earth and fragments of blackened timber.

I ran into a lil man in the woods...

he was in a hurry and quite frantic

today I saw a hawk

try to bring down a bluejay. The bluejay was almost as big as the young hawk.

It was magnificent and for a second I was hoping for the hawk...

I'm going to be a grammie again; my youngest baby is giving me a third grandchild. A spring granddaughter is on the way. I love grandbabies
